Coral Queen of rhe Sea

There's been a lot of Christmas sewing going on here!
I made my second "Coral Queen of the Sea".
It's a Moda panel by Stacy Iest Hsu.

Then I made a lined drawstring bag by Jeni Baker,
her blog is In Color Order.
I've made over 200 of these bags, literally! I made them for the Young Women at our church, for their birthdays, two years in a row.
It's such a wonderful bag, I love it!  The pattern comes with many different sizes, one of them is a free tutorial.
I have a board on Pinterest devoted to the bags,
you can check it out here.

I'll share more Christmas sewing with you next week!

Lined Travel Bag and Christmas pillowcases

post signature
I've started making my grandchildren little travel sized (12" X16")
pillowcases that fit pillows I buy at Joann's, when they come to visit us.
These are the ones I made this year, since they were here for Christmas :)

It was fun choosing the fabric, this one is Charlotte's.
I also bought them the softest little throw blankets I could find!

This one is Bridger's, sort of manly with the bearded gnomes :)

This one is for Kennedy, because she's like me and she likes vintage :)

Last but not least, is Lucy.
I gave her a traditional Santa :)

I bought this lined travel bag from In Color Order.
I made the project bag size, and want to make some more, they're great!

I made this bag to hold Coral, Queen of the Sea.
My little Charlotte loves pandas, so this fabric was perfect!

Thanks for visiting, have a great week!

Coral, Queen of the Sea

This is Coral, Queen of the Sea!
I made her from a panel of fabric.
She is designed by Stacy Iset Hsu for Moda fabrics.

The panel comes with the front and back for the doll Coral, and little Sea horse, pillow, quilt, skirt and mermaid fins.
She's as precious as can be, all you have to do is stitch, stuff and assemble.
My grand daughter really wanted me to make Coral for her, but she doesn't know that I did :)
Shhhhhh.........
